Mi piace un sacco questo episodio, come tutta la 5° stagione, d'altronde. Mi piace perche' sono sempre stato affascinato dalla mitologia in generale e dagli Dei, che io non definirei pagani. Mi dispiace moltissimo per Gabriele, e' stato davvero molto coraggioso e anch' io avrei reagito come reagi' lui all' inizio. Se avessi anch' io un padre che quasi ti tratta come uno zerbino allora lascerei che i miei fratelli, suoi figli preferiti, si scannino a vicenda senza fregarmene.
Con questa serie si sono ripresi parecchi, non e' la 1° stagione ma quando c'e' il Diavolo rende tutto piu' bello!. -

Il mio episodio preferito in assoluto.
Vogliamo parlare della scenetta in cui Dean si alza dalla sedia, circondato dagli Dei, e comincia ad insultarli con tono pacato sotto lo sguardo di un Sam completamente incredulo all'audacia e pazzia del fratello? ahahaha basta il pensiero a farmi ridere.
Quello che avrei ulteriormente gradito sarebbe stata una caratterizzazione dei personaggi (delle divinità per intenderci) maggiore.....hanno dato troppo poco spazio ad alcuni, preferendo altri. Alcune divinità non sono neanche riuscito ad identificarle......(tipo la ragazza ''vergine'' bionda, o quello accanto a Odino)
Sulla morte di Gabriele, beh, dispiace ma doveva andare così.....doveva uscire di scena, e a mio parere ci è uscito con dignità e classe.
Apprezzabile la titubanza e il ''dispiacere'' di satana dopo aver ucciso il fratellino nonchè maghetto dilettante..... -

With the airing of Supernatural’s ‘Hammer of the Gods’ episode last night on the CW Network, we thought you might like to see some behind the scenes shots showing aspects of how the show is put together.
Above, Adam - who plays the Norse god, Baldur - and John Emmet Tracy who plays Mercury, get last minute touch-ups to their makeup before the cameras roll on their scene.
Above, ‘Hammer Of The Gods’ director, Rick Bota (holding cup), goes over some last minute details with the 1st Assistant Director before the cameras roll.
Below, Jensen and Jared perform one of their own stunts, fleeing Mark Pellegrino’s Lucifer.
