Sorry if this is repeated in the main panels because I still haven’t had the chance to watch them, but here’s the interesting parts from J2M m&gs.
Jensen says that his family is with him in Rome. He’s leaving them to fly back to Atlanta and then returns to them for Crossroads. He’s going to be very jetlagged, so be nice to him!
Supernatural expanding allowed for more words, other universes, which allows them to do pretty much anything they want to do. They still have that ability. Even though Sam and Dean are technically Earthly dead and living in heaven, we saw people come back from heaven.
What’s next for Supernatural? He doesn’t know. They are waiting to hear what happens with TW. Hopefully they will know soon. The network went through drastic changes, so we’ll wait to see what happens with that show. As far as the mothership coming back, that’s always on the table. WB knows SPN has an audience and can tell more stories. They just gotta find the right story.
Jensen has his dreamlist. He would love Kripke to come back and do an 8 episode short run.
Jensen says that Drake reminds him so much of Jared and that’s part of why he hired him. They had to do the casting over zoom and didn’t realize the height difference between John and Mary until they got together to film. Most people think John Winchester and they think soldier, serious dad, tough father figure - most actors were playing that. Drake came in and played John as vulnerable with comedy.
When Jensen saw Drake, “I saw Jared. I saw Sam. I saw Dean. I saw Jensen.”
Jensen hopes that TW will continue because the cast is great. We will find out in the last episode how that could potentially set up a return. Or at least, expand the idea of what a return might look like. TW wasn’t meant to reinvent the wheel. They are just adding to the dish. TW is just a second helping.
Will TW explain where Sam is? It will. They knew from the get go. They didn’t want to lead with where Sam is. Jensen is aware that people were upset about Sam’s seeming exclusion. He joked, “A lot of people were very upset, including Sam.” He says it all makes sense and he had to explain the full plan to the concerned parties.
The audience will know very soon what’s happening, when it’s happening, where it’s happening, why it’s happening.
Jared was asked a lot of random questions and told jokes. Jared was asked what he thinks of TW and told he has a clone there. Jared said that Jensen told him early on that Drake reminded him of Jared. Jared loves the bunch and called Jojo a “fucking sweetheart”. Meg is awesome. He gets along really well with Drake. They enjoy slapping each other’s butts as hard as they can.
John Showalter, who is director and EP, texts Jared all the time about how well “Little Jared” is doing. Jared’s had multiple occasions to meet Drake and he’s not “little”, but a lot of people see him as a mini version because they are so similar.
Jared is bummed that TW is in the scenario they are in now with CW and Nexstar. He sees that the cast works so hard and it sucks that they don’t know if they will get renewed or not. TW cast is a “good gang” and he wishes Pedowitz was still in charge because they would have more support at the CW.
Previously, they were very confident that they could keep exploring in the SPN universe, but now they don’t know. With Walker, they knew they were getting s2 in Jan and s3 in Feb, but now they don’t know. “It’s a strange, stressful situation.”
Jared says that he hasn’t gotten a chance to see all the episodes of TW. He doesn’t have time to watch TV for the most part. He’s required to watch Walkerverse as part of his job, so he keeps up with those, but other than that, the only show he’s watched in years was Schitt’s Creek. He thinks it’s amazing and raves about it.
Misha says he loves being on the set of GK because they give him attention. He jokes about J2 living in their own world and says he sometimes had to remind them he existed. He says that he doesn’t have plans for what’s next because they don’t know what will happen with the show and they likely won’t know for several months.
Misha asks how long will we still do SPN conventions? He is surprised Star Trek conventions are still going.
They asked Misha what he thought of TW and he said that he hasn’t watched it yet. He’s been watching The Good Fight.

We would be exchanging gifts and little trinkets we’ve prepared all year along imagining each other faces and happiness.
We would be asking around ‘How do I look? Am I good enough for my picture? Do I need to touch up my make up? My hair?’ and getting reassurances from friends that we are perfect exactly the way we are, because we love each other.
We would be singing, not perfectly in tune but with passion to spare, our meaningful songs in the corridor of the Hilton, or siting down outside enjoying some sun when we’re lucky to have good Roman May weather.
We would be getting tipsy on good drinks, chocolate and mirth, telling silly stories about what has happened during the day.
And forgetting to eat while busy with all the activities we don’t want to miss, then eating too much pizza, or spaghetti or the amazing Roman food or even those signature club sandwiches that go from delicious to a torture in the span of a week.
We would be running on 3-4 hours of sleep per night yet feeling energized by the delight of simply waking up there for another day, for another time.
We would be looking at our amazing guys and be so proud, so happy to have them with us, part of our little JIB family, talking, joking, simply spending time together breathing the same air.
And we would be learning so many interesting new things, about them, about us, about people we have spent months talking through a screen, bringing so many different cultures and ideas and experiences together. Forgetting, even only for a few hours, all the things that divide and sadden and anger us in life and just be there.💝
For us people, who have started counting the passing of time in terms of how long ago the last JIB has been..
