Today I met Ty Olsson [Supernatural, Borealis, Dragon Tales] and got my portrait and chibi drawings autographed. He was in awe and I felt very overwhelmed (but incredibly happy!) with the experience. He told me he was very honoured, and signed “Amazing!! I’m humbled. Thank you.” as well as “Keep drawing please.” He demanded we go take photocopies however I mentioned I will be meeting him again next month in America. So he then demanded I draw one for him and bring it there. I’m posting about this here because it’s the first time someone famous has actually ASKED *ME* for my artwork. And, y’know, it feels pretty great.
(Huge thank you to his handler who took these photos without me even having to ask and then tweeting them to me! Am forever grateful.)

Jim says he’s working on a movie with Hiddles
Jim says the writers pitch Bobby episodes quite often but they don’t get picked up.
Jim says Maddie tries to write SPN episodes where Bobby has a long lost daughter.

Jim says every time he goes back it’s like a family reunion
Jim thinks playing evil!Bobby would be fun.
Fan: I’m such a big fan of yours!!! Jim: not too big, you’re not much taller than the mic!
Jim: do I have catchphrases??? Entire crowd: BALLS
Jim says that even though he’s sad Bobby is gone, he can appreciate that it was a good choice from a literary standpoint.
Jim said he has never had people respond to a role like they have with Bobby and it’s changed his life.

At Emerald City Comic-Con today, we heard Osric was wandering around as an attendee. Soon after we found that out, we ran into him and got pictures, and I got my booty-bump picture.
(I can see why they call him Badonk-a-Donkey. Look at dat ass)
Next up was my Jim Beaver Photo Op, which I successfully managed to get a booty-bump picture out of
Minutes after my Jim photo, I hopped back in line for my Mark Sheppard photo-op. I asked him, like the others, if they wouldn’t mind posing like this *demonstrates the booty-bump ways*. He said “I have never done that in my life, and I never will. I can watch you do it, though!” Thus we have
me pushing my rear-end towards Mark Sheppard while he stands there sassing me and making the cutest goddamn face possible.
This is probably the most awesome thing I have seen today.

Him: how old are you?
Me: 14
Him: I thought so, my son is 14
Me: oh that’s cool
Him: yes, you guys are in the same grade then? *winks* I’m gonna show you some pictures of him, he’s quite a looker
Me: oh yeah he is cute
Him: yeah, he gets his looks from me. Isn’t he cute though? And you seem smart. And you guys are the same age. *winks again*
And that’s the story of how mark sheppard tried to set me up with his son

My mom: she cried for like 3 days when you died (thanks mom btw)
Him: yeah, me too. I’m hoping that for season ten of supernatural they kill off sam and dean and it can be all about bobby.
OH, and while I was meeting mark (this was on the opposite side of the room from jim) jim runs over and kisses mark right on the mouth. Right in front of me. It was seriously the best thing that ever happened to me.
They were so sweet, and took a lot of time to talk to me. It was so great meeting them, they’re really just amazing people!

So this weekend I got to meet Osric. He was standing in line behind me for the SPN fan panel, and I almost didn’t even try because people kept coming up to him and I’m sure it was tiring and overwhelming, but I did.
A few months ago, Osric announced his cosplay contest, and I tweeted about him making me wish, more than ever, that I had any kind of creative talent. To my surprise, he answered my tweet, and told me that talent stems from desire, and that if I wanted to do something creative, I should. And it just… clicked.
Since then, I’ve learned how to knit, I’ve been writing and drawing and playing around with some watercolor stuff. Because I can. Nobody starts as an expert, we all have to start at square one.
So I told Osric that he helped me a lot with that, and I asked if he would sign my sketchbook (which I was very embarrassed of, I’m still in that stage of being terrible at everything) just to keep me inspired.
He took my notebook, leaned against the wall, and wrote me a whole page. He told me we all start at square one, and that when I look back on today, I’ll be so glad I started. And maybe someone else will tell me they have no creative talent and I’ll be able to help them, too.
He *might* have made me cry just a little, and I’m incredibly humbled by the experience. I guess this post is just a small thanks, for having faith in so many people that he’s never met. Osric is genuinely a fantastic human being and I’m lucky that he’s touched my life

He could not exactly stop and take pictures with people (in fear of the con organizers kicking him out— but that's understandable because he would've been causing quite a few traffic jams!) but he tried to accommodate for as many pictures as possible! He was cosplaying as Glenn from The Walking Dead and lacked a machete.
